Stone Arts of Alaska collaborates with other artists and craftsmen to produce unique items of natural Alaskan stone and other media.  Examples are shown in photographs below.

 

OVAL BOXES

Bentwood Shaker-style boxes.    Small boxes--ideal for jewelry or any small storage--made of Alaskan stone and select imported and American hardwoods.   The bottoms are a polished stone chosen to complement the color of the wood.  A polished cabochon of the same stone is inset into the wood of the top.   Little treasure boxes. 

Each box 3 x 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.  $70.                       Clockwise from top left:  fossil coral with apple wood; greenstone with birdseye maple; Jupiter marble with black walnut;  inner light marble with cebil.

FOSSIL CORAL SHOWCASE CABINETS
